A: State law requires you to be 18 or older to get a tattoo. We cannot accept parental consent for minors to be tattooed.
Q: Do you accept tattoo walk-ins?
A: Generally, we are an appointment based tattoo shop and do not always have an artist available to take walk in appointments. We strongly recommend you plan your tattoo at least a week ahead of time, and call or email us for availability. During our busiest season, we may have to schedule you for up to 3 months out from the day you contact us.
Q: How do I book an appointment?
A: The best way to book an appointment with our artists is to email us at theforestcu@gmail.com or fill out our “Contact Us” form on the website! You can also give us a call, but we are not always available to take calls and you may be waiting up to a week for a return phone call.
Q: What is the deposit for?
A: The deposit is to ensure that clients arrive on the day of their appointment, and to cover the cost of setting up in the event a client no-shows. We can reschedule your appointment and move the deposit to that date, but deposits are nonrefundable in most cases regardless of circumstance.
Q: Does my deposit go towards the total cost of my tattoo?
A: Yes! Deposits go towards the total cost on the day of your appointment. Additionally, if you have multiple sessions planned, you can decide which session you would like that deposit to go towards.
Q: What can I bring to my appointment?
A: We welcome you to bring nearly any item that makes you feel comfortable! Electronics, snacks, drinks, headphones, books, stuffed animals, blankets, your best friend, your parents, go for it! Due to the nature of our services, we ask that you do not bring children under the age of 18. We understand things happen, so if you must bring your minor please let us know at least 24 hours ahead of time so that we can accommodate.
Q: Can I bring my service animal?
A: We do not allow emotional support animals. For service animals, please contact us directly to discuss accommodations.
Q: Can I book a private party?
A: Yes. Parties are for adults 18 and over only. Please email theforestcu@gmail to inquire about private parties! We require a deposit for booking a party. The deposit amount will depend on the amount of people and services to be performed.
