Our Story

Co-owners Sam and Christine are two small town gals who grew up together from pre-school on up. Throughout their childhood and adolescence they worked together on many creative projects and competitive teams. The Forest has been their biggest collaboration to date. This all started in 2013 when Sam got her foot in the door of the industry as a piercer, and after a few years she roped Christine in to take her place. In 2015 Sam was tattooing full time and Christine had begun her piercing apprenticeship. Over the years in the industry, these two had grand ideas of creating a place where clients can finally have the customized and comfortable experience they deserve, instead of the rushed, casual approach of familiar street shops. Ten years later, The Forest was born and a dream team was formed.
